Play Therapy

Services - Child-Centered Play Therapy

Child-Centered Play Therapy is to children what counselling is to adults. Play is a child's natural medium of expression. Play Therapy enables children to express their feelings more easily through toys instead of words.

Children use TOYS as their WORDS to enact what troubles them. We may think of child's play as being trivial, that the child is simply playing. Because PLAY is the child's primary language of learning, children;

  • Learn to explore & understand their world
  • Express their feelings
  • Develop new physical, mental & social skills
